Yep. It's that alien that that scarred my childhood , the freak that looks like a walking turd. I do not kid. I am that old that I got to see this ugly little bugger in the theatre. I never got so terrified. Every moment of the film I was wishing it to end. C'mon, how the hell is this bastard that loveable? After exiting the theatre, I still got freaked out by the number of merchandise just around the theatre mall. My auntie who took me to watch it even bought me a small ET keychain and a mask. I was too embarassed to tell her and my girl cousin, also fearing someone will discover this and use it to freak me out... one of my aunts did and I almost died of a heart attack. I also started to get scared of having sleepovers at my other cousin's house. He's one of those lucky kids in the 80s who got all those cool toys...those Lego sets, the other Rubik puzzles, Tomy water toys...but he had to have that freaking ET figure with a glowing tummy and finger...plus that boxing ET puppet! WHY?!! A year later we moved out to another house but that freaking mask was still with us. It occationally tormented my nights by hanging out in our backyard wall, I can see it if I view it from my window.

Thank God for Transformers and kids finally forgotten about that pissashite.

Well that was my youth. I ain't afraid of the mutant turd with big eyes anymore, but when I look back ....DAMN!

I don't have the means to go to the states yet, but please, please someone beat up the artist who designed ET... and Spielberg. I know they're old sods now, but they freaking deserve it... think of that terrified little fat kid during the 80s.
