Side Notes:
Hagiwara (w/ Studio Loud in School) = Bastard! Currently unrivaled in terms of the amount of detail in manga/comics. + hotest manga babes + earth /universe destroying action. Saw Vol 26 and my mind was blown! English translation reaches only up to vol 18. If you haven't seen the latest volumes, look 'em up and see what you guys are missing.
Guido Guidi = So far the best modern TF artist around. He can draw humans too!
Gonzalo Mayo= The newbies still don't draw Vampirella as hot as the master!
Godzilla = 90's (Heisei) Big G is still my fave. Here's hoping for the best on his next incarnation.
Nirasawa = My most influencial horror / creature designer
Kawamoto = been a fan since Stardust Memories and Goldenboy (He refined Egawa's art for animation)
Hajime Katoki = He made Gundam better!
Utatane Hiroyuki = I'm really picky about H art. He was my only favourite H artist during the 90s.
Enrico Marini = My fave mixed style + ligne claire comic artist! Thank you Heavy Metal for the English translation of Gipsy!
Floro Dery = Love him or hate him, Transformers will not look the same without him. Plus he designed Galvatron!
Marko Djurdjevic = just awesome!
Industrial Design = it pays to know!
Jim Lee = Can't deny his influence in my life! I was also one of the kids emulating his style a long time ago. Mr. Jim Lee rocks!

Oh yeah. This meme is not just putting in comic manga artist that influences your style. You can add music, tv shows and books. It can also be artist that you don't exactly emulate but inspires you a lot.

Hahaha no! There was a time that I didn't know who the artists were and Kinu's art (dungeons and dragons, SF sketches,Cyberbots, Aliens Vs Predator) was the one I always loved. I was surprised to know later that she was a girl.
