You taught me to love and live happiely.
You left the Earth to soon it was a crime.
You don't know what your life has meant to me.

My life has changed a lot since you have gone,
I hope you are still very proud of me.
You were my sun and moon because you shone.
You have left but I miss you terribly.

I imagine you as a dove that sores,
Passing all the souls you will still touch.
If my life is half as great as yours,
I know I will have accomplished much.

You made me laugh when dancing the um pa pa.
I will never stop loving you, Grandpa.
