Happy New Years everybody! I wanted to start this year off strong and finally complete a drawing that has been floating in my head for years and years. It is the transition from Sonic to Supersonic! I haven't seen much of this idea and said to myself, "Why do I have to wait for someone to draw my vision when I could do it myself?" Everything about this drawing is traditional to the markers, color pencils, ink outline and a little of my own flare. Though there is effects that I applied to this drawing to give it the sense of speed. Naoto Ohshima and Yuji Naka are surely an inspiration and hope I can be too.
