Also, he has Attention Deficit Disorder, otherwise known as ADHD. Sometimes this makes it hard for him to focus on his work.

When he's not on duty, he likes to sit barefoot on the porch of his house and play the ukulele.

Like Dr. Vibri, the science/chemistry teacher in Oscar's school, Janitor Jake knows about Oscar and his friends' ability to shrink, and sometimes, when he's off duty, he even likes to shrink himself, so he can join in the adventures.
