Ƥersonality: Assertive, always looking for a challenge and a little one track minded, Rakiel is always in the mood for a confrontation-- good or bad. Easily bored and full of energy that can never settle on just one thing, he makes a somewhat undisciplined samurai because he has trouble sticking to their strict code. Instead Rakiel is fine with going his own way, and is known to roam smaller towns distributing his own brand of justice to bandits and thieves where he finds them. Somewhat of a vigilante by nature, he doesn't tend to like large organized groups.
He is kind of a baby about his hair being pulled. His excellent sense of smell means that he's especially sensitive to unpleasant ones, and has to excuse himself around people who wear too much perfumes or don't bathe regularly. His style of battle is fast and all-out-- he doesn't care if he's physically damaged when he fights, and his Wild Charge attack usually throws him in harms way just so that he can strike at an opponent's weakness in exchange.

Ḣistory: Rakiel grew up in a village rich in electric type lore and culture. Tattoos were a predominant form of showing status, and throughout his childhood, adolescence and young adulthood, he trained in order to earn the tattoos of a warrior on his wrists. In particular, Rakiel deeply respects a Mareep man within the village, who's son is a childhood friend of his. He mostly fights to keep Hikaru, the friend in question, out of trouble. When he isn't travelling on his own, he's returning either to bail Hikaru out-- or just to get him in more trouble by accident. His constant travelling has taken him to Scorched Mountain, where curiosity pertaining to a certain individual has led him on a manhunt.

►Very territorial of his friends, but not very sensitive to how often he paralyzes non-electric types. Because he grew up around only electric types, he's a little too touchy and not very considerate about it.
