The only type of snorkelling old Beej likes is bog-snorkelling! It looks like he's taken Lyds on a swim down a muddy stream - a bit cleaner than he'd like, but never mind: anything for Lydia.Bog-snorkelling - in the usual sense - involves two people swimming through water-filled trenches in peat bogs, competing to get the shortest time possible. It's also rightfully deemed as one of the world's wackiest sports. BJ and Lyds, however, are merely doing it for recreation.
I based their outfits off of those they wore in "The Big Face-Off" when they dived into a pool of mud. This made sense since I reckon Lydia wouldn't want to get her hair dirty and BJ wouldn't want his to get clean!

I personally hate getting dirty, but I bet BJ's having a great time and Lydia too! She doesn't mind getting mucky if she's with him.

They're from the Beetlejuice cartoon. I started watching it more than a year and probably wouldn't have become a fan if it wasn't for one thing - I love Lydia Deetz's character! Beetlejuice can be really difficult sometimes, yet despite this, she is so kind and always brings out the best in him. That's the sort of friend I'd like to be.
