haha I'm kind of tardy to the party on this one (like really tardy), but I feel as though I should comment on how incredibleΒ the change was. I mean, just... woah. The improvement is so fantastic that I can't even fathom how you grew so much in such a short period of time! Your growth through all your artwork is beautiful, but this shows just how phenomenal you are! Goodness, I mean, just wow.Β

I was very proud of this at the time, though now I see too many things I would like to change to truly like it.
But which artist isn't overly critical of their work, right?

Oh yes, I understand completely; this happens to me a lot in writing (and I think most people in all art forms struggle with this). I look at a piece from a year or two ago and immediately all I can think is "why was I proud of this?". All my eyes can find are grammatical mistakes, pacing errors, and lack luster description. In the end, though, I see it as a good thing because, if I'm able to look back at something I wrote and see the problems in it now, I like to believe that it means I've improved a great deal. ^_^
