Description
This is for my very first fan. Finally got time to do it when i'm sick and no need to go to work... T_T Xiaoying, gommen....... A very first attempt using Open Canvas, lern it from the mastah Very not use to the brushes in open canvas.. i have a hard time to blend the colours... Mastah!!!!.. i still need more lessons... T^TI always wanted to draw a romantic dawn scene... but i can't really find a suitable color theme for it..... Pls giv more comment!! >_<
*edit: bleh added some reds and sharpen the eyes... >_<

well with the theme of the picture.
The expression in their eyes
is lvoely, as well as the glints
of highlighted areas that reflect their bliss
in a soothing, simple, yet beautiful atmosphere.
The background theme helps out a lot
to create a sense of serenity,
and the small details of foliage (grins, i love that word;
meaning the flowers/grass) help
to bring in the larger ones in the front so
that they aren't just "bam" there, and instead
are a lovely mixture to the piece.

I always have a difficult time distinguishing between dawn & dusk in art. I'd say, if u want a romantic setting, maybe add more warm colours (then again, too much orange would make it look like dusk(?) The background seems too dark for dawn (but I can see how it makes a nice contrast w/ their faces) I've noticed in other ppls art that making it a bit hazy/cloudy, adds romanticism. Maybe you could add particles of light, you know, to make it seem they are bathed in light(?)
Ok, there is one thing that bothers me, they are a couple, right? She seems too young for him. I mean, she's beautiful, but I think her frame is too small.

Don't get me wrong, I know NOTHING about CGing, and your art is absolutely beautiful, so you've just won another admirer. (the comment I just gave might be me being too picky, I still think its beautiful just like it is. ^_^)

Maybe a suggestion for the future; she looks a tid unnatural sitting up like that. Maybe if her head was leaning back on his chest/shoulder?
