Description This is the underside of a gunnera leaf that I saw in Costa Rica. Gunnera plants typically have huge leaves, large enough that they could be used for umbrellas! In an sunny moment (unusual in a cloud forest) , I popped under a leaf and shot this. I really like to capture abstract patterns that I find. Most of the time those shots end up being boring, but I liked this one.

Contrast and minor color edits in PS CS3, as well as a slight vignette added to give it a bit more of a focal point.

Canon S3 IS.
