I bet the UK sees a lot more American TV than Americans see British TV. You guys certainly seem to know more about American pop culture than we know about anything British.
I've only seen a handful of British shows, but I enjoy all of them: Monty Python, The Young Ones, Doctor Who, Benny Hill, and Keeping Up Appearances.

I absolutely love Benny Hill that has to be one of the best ones as well as the original Mr Bean (not animated) and Bottom.
They tend to screen a lot of american stuff on ITV2 or on Sky when I used to have it like Frasier, Jeremy Kyle USA, MASH, Cheers

I've never seen Mr. Bean's show, but I do love his movies, especially Mr. Bean's Holiday. Rowan Atkinson is freaking hilarious.

Now I just noticed, Bob is around the five or eight years old. How can he have a Krusty-Doll, when Krusty actually must be as old as Bob is? O.o

In my stories and comics, Bob is 9 years older than Cecil, because that is the age difference between me and my little brother. It makes their sibling relationship more relatable for me.
From what I have heard and seen on The Simpsons, Krusty is in his 60's, and Sideshow Bob is in his 40's.
