My painting for Media, Methods & Materials due in... 1.5 hrs. XD
I just finished it. Though it's not as finished as I would like, I had to stop and readjust the mandatory parts of the project.

So we had to do a "mural" painting (20x10) of a scene that shows depth using a variety of "rules" that show depth (tonal atmosphere, overlap, repetition, etc...)
As well, we were using acrylics and a variety of bases to give the painting textures to make the painting appear more "realistic" (though I don't paint realistically from my head)

Some of the base textures I used were black lava for the dirt, ceramic stucco for the tree bark, and string gel for the vines and plants, along with an overall base coat of gesso.

This project was fun, but it would have been better without worrying about so many of my other projects. I have another painting due tomorrow morning, and I haven't had the time to start it... wish me luck!
