Finally done! I've been working on this on and off all week, but I made it in time for the contest!

Here is my entry for the Mais Autumn Contest! These four aren't sure what to make of the slug they found near the base of this tree, but they seem to think he's a friend! From left to right: Minnow, Finn, Finch, and Cricket. The latter three are a family, but Minnow sometimes likes to tag along for fun and act as the "uncle" of the group. ♥

I tried to include most of the contest challenges and I think the only one I didn't fulfill was the inclusion of a pinecone... mostly because I can't draw them, oops. Everything else is here, though: warm autumn colors, full background, Mais that aren't my own, leaves, mushrooms, and a slug.
