it gained in popularity after 'a haunting in connecticut' came out, but i'm pleased to be able to say that i knew the poem long before that.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Ameshia. This scene was something I created due to a poem from a story called Antagonish.

The poem:

Yesterday, upon the stair
I saw a man who wasn't there
I saw him there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away
