Description

Maybe I'm just a bit old fashion in regards to the Enterprise from Discovery.

Altogether it's a beautiful ship in its own right, but 4 things still bug me about it -- and like I said I may be just a bit old fashion.

My preference is the nacelle pylons being at 45 degrees instead of being at -- ball parking 30 degrees.

This is followed by my preference being the neck taller, and what's with the forward viewports on the upper saucer?  I can see them as being a large scale recreation deck/arboretum combination which would free up space in the secondary hull for the brewery style engineering systems under the engine room itself -- like deuterium tanks, warp plasma coolant as to why they have a radioactive symbol on some of the tanks, and so forth.  But it would also cut into some of the habitat sections which may explain why the Enterprise has 203 people instead of 430.

But like I said those are my preferences along with me being old fashion.

I did say four and it's mostly seeing the transition from the TOS era Enterprise to the TMP era Enterprise which is what this Enterprise is based off of -- reverse engineering Andrew Probert's Enterprise while using elements from both the TOS Star Trek and the Kelvin timeline Star Trek, plus adding elements from Discovery.

I like how you put a little Bridge inside the model. (Unless it was made by someone else of course.)

It was actually composited.  Believe it or not the reimagined bridge for that type of hull design isn't ready yet.
