Description
After successfully defending Vigil's Keep and Amaranthine, the Crown commissioned a special weapon for the Warden Commander of Ferelden from Mikhael Dryden, master weapons smith. The staff head is an homage to Andruil, the elven goddess of the hunt, known also as "blood and force" and the "great hunter.". The staff itself has a shorter poll to allow fro a longer than a average staff blade.

While I've focused more on the Arcane Warrior portion of my version of Grey Warden Surana, he is still a mage at his base. And I thought he needed a staff fitting for him. The staff had two major influences. The first comes from the Dragon Age 2 trailer where Hawke is fighting the Arishok with a staff with an extended staff blade. That damn thing was cool! The next is a combo, using the staff head Malcolm's Honor as an example I borrowed the staff head from the Teclis miniature of the High Elf army in Warhammer Fantasy Battles.

Want to give a major shout out to Erica ! This is my first time working with her, and I couldn't be more pleased. Her original artwork on some of her own Dragon Age characters, and especially all the different staves she has created, was what drew me to commission her in the first place. For all my friend's that like Dragon Age related art should really check her out. Start by giving her some love here;
