It wasn't long after the expedition party had returned did Stahl seek out both Tesleen and Pompeii. It wasn't a loud or boisterous reunion, but a kind one full of lots of headbutts and smiles, laughing about the journey and the missed space between them.

It was a few hours into the daytime, far after the Tomb had settled in for their sleep. Inside the Vox's den, lay three friends- one grey, one black, and one blue. Tes' soft snoring filled the cavern, while Stahl's even breathing matched with Pompeii's perfectly. Quietly, the grey wolf opened his eyes to look at them both, a warmth filling his chest and making him feel so wonderfully happy and heavy. With a heavy sigh, he tucked his head further around Stahl and closed his eyes yet again.

Oh, he thought as he slowly drifted into sleep, how wonderful it is to be home.
