Got the chance to color one of my old pieces recently. I had fun!

It's nice to begin losing my fear of success. Wanting to do better, yet being afraid to allow myself to do so, is complicated and painful. I'm grateful to have such wonderful, patient people on my side (especially on those days where it feels like there's no one on my side). I'm also grateful to artists like Chris Foss, Angus McKie and the late great Peter Elson. Their works inspired and influenced this piece.

This ship is from the Laniakea (Galaxy Chronicles) universe. It's a pretty run-of-the-mill standard hull used by numerous individuals and organizations throughout the volume.
