How does a flying predatory reptilian that lived millions of years ago relate to a small nocturnal mammalΒ ?

Interesting! The zubat colors on Aerodactyl would make such an amazing shiny form! D=

Ah, yes. One of the more ridiculous theories floating around the pokeverse... Never understood this. Because they have similar wing structure, which isn't really that uncommon in actual real life nature, one evolved into the other? I always thought this one was stupid.

Well, I am going to post more later on. I was thinking about Cubone/Kangaskhan Theory or Butterfree/Venomoth Theory

I think the majority of the theories can be explained simply by limited technology. They had to make a bunch of sprites, so they borrowed pieces from others to save time, or the same artist was working on a certain group of pokemon so some of them share similar characteristics... I don't think most (I want to say any, personally) of them were intentional on gamefreak's part. They're certainly interesting, but the basis for some of these theories are just so weak, it's laughable. IE this one.
But anyway, I wouldn't really bother with posting them, simply because everyone who cares already knows about them, and they just don't really have a place here. They've already been illustrated and done elsewhere.
