I think it looks and feels way better than any kind of Ultima Weapon.

Seems like it, Ultimas are great weapons, but they are vague.
Like and epic weapon with a name and history was not considered.
That's why I like any ultimate weapon that has that. Like inΒ Shadow hearts, each character has a final weapon with a unique name, history and trait.
Like the Wild Mist, twin tomahawks used by the Shania the indian princess.
Or the Missing 51, a pair of revolvers used by her bodyguard in his gun-fu fighting style.
Generic Ulitma weapons are so impersonal....

Ultimate weapons like in FFIX or X, or those from Fire Emblem.
They really connect to the character's characteristics and history.
So it's like "wow now i can finally have the ultimate blitzball" or "the ultimate doll".
I gotta say i like your thoughts and ideas on the topic and i hope we can talk about more things in the future.

Abandons the Buster Sword!? He made it into a symbol of Zack, the fallen hero. The Buster Sword was never "Abandon"!Β

He "abandoned" it because it was too much of a burden for him to carry it any longer.
I did not say that he just threw it away cause he likes the Fusion Sword more.
Also Angeal always told Zack that he does not want to use it because it will bring
rust with it, which quite frankly really happened, and Cloud knew that because of that
he was not able to carry it.

Cloud was never told the story about the sword before Zack owned it, at least never on screen. "Abandon" was not the right word-- it sounds too harsh. He symbolized it by leaving it behind to honor Zack and to remember his own pain and sin. I never meant to upset you. It was a "in the moment" comment. Plus, it gets cleaned up in the end. Aside from that, can't wait for FFVII-2, if it is ever gonna happen.

Thanks. I've watched Final Fantasy VII Advent Children several times and I always pause it at the part where Cloud disasembles the Fusion Sword and I try and count how many swords there are. I've counted 6 or 7 swords
