Nicely done. You could vaguely make out what appears to be a skull-like face in the center of the plume, but it does not appear to be a solid object. It's like his/her soul being released from whatever just blew their mind .

How much time did this take, compared to your others? The rendering is much more simple; I think that it can look better in certain cases.
I'd imagine that this piece looks better than if you would have fully rendered it. It has a lot more character.
I will say that I'm not sure if the figure is pointing at me, or just reaching out.

Very nice.
I, myself, have been trying to break into a painterly style. That, mixed with the fact that the only "digital painting" I'd been doing was on MS Paint, has been giving me trouble. I've only been making proper attempts for a little over a year now.
Even though I can critique art, replicate a lot of anatomy, and make okay linework, it's a bit of a struggle to git gud
