you have a new fan!
Very impressive.
I made some little things in Fimo pasta (maybe you know that, its a sort of plastic you can modeling as you want and then when you cook it it becomes hard...is it like your polymer?) but that was very very far from your Parrodactyl, i just made little charcacters or flowers or so... So i have to thank you thats very inspirating.
And i wondered if your material was like this Fimo Pasta i used... i think so cause polymers are like plastic no?
oh and i like especially the mixing of colors its really nice! I really just have to i wish i had more hands to clap more.
Black-lighted is too keep up the great work!

polymers are basically pvc after baking. ive never used fimo pasta, but i imagine it is a lot like polyclay.

the number of pieces is too big to recall, approximately 18 inch wingspan, the whitish lines on the feathers are the same clay the rest is made from

I'm absolutely blown away!
I geuss if I did have one question, it would be lesser about method...
I was wondering, these must be visions that you experience - do you have a full and nearly completed idea of a final product you are aiming for, or do these masterpieces begin with a blank, trance-like state?
How much do the two play into each other; the spontaneous trance and the matered blueprint???
This is one of the great works of art that museums search high and low overseas to find!

nexusjinn In reply to ashes2infinity [2005-11-15 06:27:11 +0000 UTC]

usually there is no "blueprint" beyond the knowledge of form and symmetry i have accumulated and the wish to make something. as the process continues, the piece emerges more or less spontaneously using me to enter the world of form. i often feel like im watching the process from an ouside perspective, as the source manifests my potential. it is an intimate experience, and i am usually in awe of what happens, reminded of the Truth. the goal is to remind all who have forgotten
thanks for your comment
