Application for It feels like it's been a while since I wrote one of these hng
-Maelk was accepted into court, so I will be working on a nice court outfit for it, then!

♥ Name: Maelk (Maelge fi Skartende Aarnetrae)
♥ Age: 189 human years (often attempting to come across as someone at the end of their teens - or sometimes younger - though...)
♥ Presented Gender: Female*
♥ Height: 5'1'' (About 155 cm)
♥ Weight: 77lb (pretty light)

♥ Race| Faerie: Danish Huldra, "Elf"; A Nordic sub-species of the Huldra, perhaps, a kind of fae which is a mixture between elves and nymphs. Its back is hollow and the body of this faerie is slightly more similar to wood than to an actual humans' flesh, which makes it quite light and very durable. They are pretty tricksters, often with no such hindering things as 'conscience' or 'sense of guilt'. Quite capable of using Glamour to make people see things as it wishes them to.

♥ Occupation: Maelk's dream is to be a musician at the Wyldeking's Court (A DREAM COME TRUE!) - otherwise, it is mainly a free-loader and a trickster. Maelk spends the main portion of its day walking through the forest, playing music, gathering oddities, and seeking attention from other forest-walkers.

♥ Personality: Mischievious | Childish | Attention seeking | Curious | Reckless | Flirty
Maelk has the energy of a 5-year old child on a constant sugar-high and an attention span to match. It takes great pleasure in exploring new paths and new tricks, and it is always absoloutely delighted if it can bring forth laughter, a smile, surprise, shock or even tears from others. It might take its pranks a bit too far at times, but it is very careful to follow the rules of the forest and to not -severely- harm the inhabitants of the local town. It likes to flirt with anyone and everything.
It doesn't feel a great deal of guilt and appealing to its conscience might not be worth your time. Maelk might use the excuse that its back is hollow and thus it doesn't have a traditional 'heart', but despite this claim the faerie has a habit of falling into a melancholic state during new moons. At such occurances, it is not odd for it to question the meaning of existance, miss out on prank opportunities, and generally acting a bit more mature than otherwise.

♥ History: Maelk has not lived in a lot of places - mainly the one it calls 'home' and now, the woods of Penrith. The place it comes from is best described as Northern and swampy. The wetlands and the forest surrounded it was Maelk's home for several decades, but most of the area was eventually run over by humans and destrayed, partly in a great forest fire. This did not result in a very friendly atmosphere among Maelk's fellow fae in the area, not did it make the area a very attractive place to live in, and eventually Maelk and others pulled up their roots and travelled out into the world in search of something better.
Still somewhat new to life in this area, Maelk has yet to really establish much of a relationship to other fae. But its hopeful and positive, and with a bit of luck it might just manage to make a few friends, have a few flirts, and perhaps even find a rival or another special existance out there to share its hobbies and hoards of strange stuffs with.

During RP, I am like to choose a gender (i.e. fem/mal) for my own sake and for convenience, as writing 'it' and 'its' gets on my nerves.
(*Maelk doesn't truly have a gender, but it does have a thing for skirts. Still, it will usually change its appearance according to the tastes of its companion - same goes for height, truly. It doesn't have a particularly femine voice. Especially in company of humans and their like, Maelk will choose an appearance either with the hope of terrifying or arousing interest in the target)
