First day: Mermaid!
Dont even think with really even counts as INKtober since...like...its not ink
I really really don't think I'll be able to do one for everyday of October but one can dream lol
Hopefully me going back to school tomorrow won't hurt how much art I can do tooo much~!

i absolutely love the symbolism in this <33
about poaching, pollution of the sea(seeing the fishing net wrapped around the turtle the way it is, because people do throw those into the sea)
and the way that the mer lady is pulling at the turtle away from the surface, it could be some sort of symbolism of the Earth or nature pulling back what belongs. And how she's facing away from view, it really add's atmosphere and emotion into the piece; gorgeous work <3
