October Art Challenge : Pumpkins

Ooooh hay thar art challenges, it's been a while hasn't it? Also hay thar a finished piece of art, it's been a long while too yes?

Welp, as you can see, we've decided to get back in the swing of ACs again because we're all a bunch of filthy slackers and these monthly deadlines are about the only way currently we seem capable of pumping out any type of real finished art.

And by we I mean myself, mainly, since I can't speak for anyone but 8D

Anywho, yesh -normally the ACs are submitted the first of the next month but since this month's theme was of relevance to the holiday, I wanted to submit on the day itself. And now that it's past 2 in the morning where I am, it's officially Halloween and therefor officially a time I can submit. Yay.

I actually started with more of a Nouveau look to this during the sketching, with more pumpkins and such being the main theme but it wasn't really working out too well so I mutated it into what you see [which honestly, is about how it goes with all of my artwork. It starts as one thing and ends up as another].

Fuan got the very first AC reboot picture because he's pretty [yes he] and can work his dress well. I took some inspiration for his corset cutout from this cool etsy shoppe that does corsets with "xray" cutouts in the center. I thought it would look cool for this [plus, I fully plan on buying one of those corsets for myself one day, they are the rock].

AND YES. I'm fully aware he's got a spinal column where his stomach should be. Doing xray cutouts only work if you are doing them from a front view, I wanted a side view so I had to improvise.
