I made fudge for the first time in my life today =O The recipe was pretty simple but before I went and made enough to give as gifts, I needed to make sure it would taste okay so a test batch was done. I did white choco since I can actually eat them and try it out, and reg choco because I know not everyone is up for white and I could rope Selene and the hubby into trying them out for me [I'm allergic to regular chocolate, so they got to be my guinea pigs for it]

Two things I'll have to do differently for next time, a) add more cream into the white batch because since the chocolate is fake, it's consistency isn't as creamy once melted [as it came out a bit stiff, so it was less like fudge and more like candy] and b) leave the salt completely out of the reg choco batch because apparently, the taste came through. Also, I'll prolly add nuts into half of each of the next batches to break up the choco tastes. Though I do have to say that the crushed peppermint on top tastes good on the white batch [and Selene says it's just as good on the reg so I'll take her word for that]
