Day 96 of 365I also redid Sassy Pant's hoof blushing yesterday in between work breaks. I had to take if off a long while back when I thought I'd have to sell her, and she's been blank since. I've been meaning to get back to blushing her hoofs for a while and along with every other thing I need to do for my dorrus maintenance wise, I'm behind. But, better at some point than never and now Sassy has some color to her hooves again.
I like it better than the first round, and I'm hoping that with the lighter blushing overall it won't chip as badly as it did in the beginning. I can deal with all blushing or none, but the half done chipped bits are what gets me =_=

I like the lighter blushing, it looks very natural [not that the other blushing didn't, but I like how subtle this is] and hopefully won't give you the chipping issues. Good to see the Sass getting back to her full, non-stripped self again ^^
I have low tolerance for chipping color too--it's why I don't wear nailpolish. One chip and I have to immediately remove every speck from my nails.

I like the understated style on her blushing, I think it suits her well. Rose's hooves have been chipped since not long after I got her, I really need to get around to fixing that sooner or later. :S

Yeah see when they chip I can't stand it, I dunno what it is but I'm perfectly okay with them being totally blank. The instant I get that half chipped gaps in the blushing it bugs the hell out of me. I enjoy the coloring, just not gaping holes that are near impossible to cover up in pictures O_< I'm kind of hoping this time around I won't have as much of an issue [or at the very least, when they start chipping, that I'll be able to touch it up easier instead of having to strip them down and redo from top to bottom like I did when there was more color] This way, she's got some color at least, without the hassle [or so I hope -haha]
Good luck with Rose's because there's so much coloring on her hooves that I think it might be a bit of a pain to have to do it all over D:

Ahh yeah, I've been lucky with Rose and Bella's hooves that when they've chipped (which they both currently are), it's been possible to cover them up by placing them strategically, or by simply photoshopping a small chip out when it does get into a shot, but they both do still annoy me and need to be re-done.
Mon actually re-did Ari's hooves not long after and they're still unchipped and looking really good now, just had to really seal them and gloss them as well, the gloss seems to have really helped keep them from chipping again.
