So back for my birthday, I bit the bullet and got myself a Blythe. Don't particularly like Blythe (Always been more fond of Pullips) and even though I've seen some decent customs, I never thought I'd actually own one myself.

She came in and after reading up on a bunch of tutorials on taking apart her head, eye mechs, scalps, you name it, I got to modding (because default Blythes still don't appeal to me and prolly never will. They really aren't an aesthetic I enjoy) and I finished her today. For my first Blythe ever, and my first mod of this kind, I'm pretty happy with how she turned out. I wasn't sure if I'd keep her when she originally arrived, but now I'm liking on her a lot and she's definitely going to stay.

So meet Parfait, my candy colored girl ^_^

Mods done ->

~Reshaped her mouth, gave her some lips and a smile
~Reshaped her eye wells a little bit, making them slightly more almond shaped than before
~Sanded down her cleft chin
~Sanded her nose down a tiny bit and gave her slightly more pronounced nostrils (very slight)
~Gave her a more definitive lip indent... thingy, whatever you call it
~Clipped the T-bar in her eye mech. to reposition forward facing eyes so they no longer sit dead center
~New faceup
~Body switch out (replaced the horrible default Blythe bod with a Pure Neemo small bust bod and it's a million times better, I tell you whut)
~Restyling of hair, gave her an angled Bob

Next up I plan to start changing out her eyechips, since I hadn't been sure I'd keep her I left them default but now that she's sticking around, they're coming next. After that I'll prolly do the second pull string / sleepy eye mod (and paint her eyelids then, most likely in pastel rainbows 8D), maybe replace her eyelashes then too before calling her good. Yep.
