Since my gallery utterly lacks cute general audience stuffs, with only a poultry few quality arts of the sort scattered here and there, I wanted to add more non-adult arts to kind of mellow my harsh image a bit.
... knowing full well it'd take a whole another account to do that... ah well screw it ! ! !

Ok seriously now, as a die hard true blue NIMH fan, never mention the name of N2 so long as you shall live... I for once feel "What's the big deal?!?!"
Ok yea sure N2 was an utter flop, mainly because the legendary Don Bluth was never involved in N2's creation or else it would have rocked your socks just the the original... but ok look, it's still Mrs. Brisby here, ok? She's Basically visually the same... well mostly... and ok yea sure character wise this ain't your Momma's Mrs. Brisby but ehhhhh *shrug* it's a Brisby of sorts...
Anyhooo bugger it... I'm posting this anyway since I lack anything other than ecchi in my gallery so cut me some slack here.
And chillax my fellow hardcore NIMH fans, I'll post more honest to goodness "OLD SCHOOL" Bris as well soon after this.. well eventually... so reach under and pull your bunched up panties out from riding up and annoying ya'.

Yeah, Don Bluth gave no support in the making of NIMH 2, I'd assemble a better crew, and make a better sequel than this, or better yet, go back in time to find a way to get this sequel cancelled or get it to never be released.

In truth, there are SOOOOOOOOOO many ways nimh2 could have been better, most of which, N2 could have been done by Bluth...
Just think of how amazing N2 might have been if the almight Bluth had guided the story along as he had done with the animated adaptation to O'brien's book, the original Secret of NIMH.
Still for what it is, NIMH2 isn't a total bomb.
MGM just could have been done better with it!

Elizabeth Hartman will always be Mrs. Brisby to me, but to be fair I thought Debi Mae West did wonderfully.

Part of me kind of liked NIMH 2 in a sort of "so bad it's good" kind of way. Evil Martin was the best part in my opinion, it was so unbelievably silly that it worked. Jenny and Timmy were a cute couple too. At least it was better than Ferngully 2...maybe not by much, but I couldn't stand that movie.

I haven't seen FG2 so I can't make any comparisons, but in truth, NIMH 2 wasn't as bad as most of the die hards made it out to be. Sure it can't hold a candle to the original but that's not to say "Burn N2 with Mythbusters Hindenburg paint". It was campy but in a way so cute too, and yes the ship between Tim and Jenny was cute!

I think people wouldn't be so angry at the movie if it were a sequel to something else or just it's own movie, it's just the fact that it's a sequel to such a classic that makes people hate it I guess.

The hate comes from fans of the original that had high hopes the sequel would be as good, or better than the first. They were deeply disappointed that N2 did not follow the original, theme wise, meaning gritty and moody. When they learned it was a happy go lucky sing along, they were sick. 
To me, N2 was in it's own way quite cute. It may not have the loyal following the classic has and deserves but, N2 is pretty good nevertheless.

For some reason I found the contrast between the two movies rather funny, and therefore I could watch the second one and enjoy it because I wasn't really taking it seriously. There were some redeeming things about it too though.
Anyway, did you hear they're going to do a NIMH remake now? And it'll be computer animated. x.x

Actually, I saw the sequel before the original, and still recognized it as the worst film I'd ever see - at seven years old! I'd even seen FG2!
The plot was full of holes, the songs atrocious, the animation dreadful, and it was disgustingly light hearted. Not a movie fit for man or beast.

It's not a bad design...NIMH 2 could've been a perfectly fine kids movie if they hadn't overkiddified it.

That's what killed it I think... By trying to widen the viewing audience to include younger kids, MGM killed N2 by making it a horrible musical something I think of as being a Disney fail that Disney would have quickly dumped in the shredder.

I've never watched it since I've heard it was epically bad, but that doesn't mean I'll hate on fan art or the character designs. It's silly to be that obsessive anyway. The little glasses are the best part.

I actually had a chance to watch NIMH 2 when it aired on Disney Channel awhile back, and while true it can't hold a candle to the original, to me it wasn't as "Kill it with flame!" awful as some argue it was. *amused head tilt*
For a time I was even wondering if any of those head case hard core fans of NIMH would be trolling my DA page on the account that I am already known as a pervy little NIMH fan artist. XDD But then it might also be the fact that I'm somewhat evolving out into a decent artist in my own right, and that might be putting some fear in them...but regardless... I'm a fan of NIMH, and Mrs. [F/B]risby whether she was drawn by Bluth or not. Makes no difference to me. I like the art styles..more so for Don's styling, but that doesn't mean I'll hate on N2 any.

Yeah, I found out similar things about some of the Disney sequels. They weren't great or even good, but most were watchable and had some amusing moments. The whole "kill sequels with fire" attitude is pointless. If you don't like them no one is forcing you to watch them Clockwork Orange style.
I'd have to roll my eyes at anyone who dissed you for your naughty NIMH art. I understand some folks want to keep part of their childhood uncorrupted, but then they shouldn't watch or visit you. Once they see how you roll they should turn around and leave without a word. Makes everyone happier. In any case, most internet wanderers should be aware of rule 34, and they should know it also applies to their childhood treasures. The only mature paths to take are to embrace it (as you and I have done) or ignore it with dignity. Easy enough. The "ouch, you're ruining my childhood" thing is unnecessary. YOU'RE ruining your own childhood by dwelling on whatever you're looking at. I've come across stuff that was too much for even my sensibilities, but then again I'm a very non-confrontational person so I'd avoid bashing and flaming regardless of my limits.

And I fully agree. Those who continue to whine and groan about others destroying their beloved childhood memories really are not doing themselves any good. Yes either just ignore the naughty with dignity or embrace the dark side. oops pardon..
