The color and the texture, as well as the whole dynamic with his face and the sword are what I love about this piece.

It wasn't as dynamic at the start. But then i realized i like those crazy perspectives - it makes picture much more viable and interesting.

Quite, I'm going to have to work on image dynamics myself when I go forth with my comic project.

Hey, your priorities were right! But I want to see more from you, you really are talented! You might like to look at the drow/dark elf quest I am running here, you can find it on my first two journals on my profile. I have already got some great entries on this, it is just for fun & you might enjoy it?

I was running d&d for last 17 years. I do enjoy playing, although now my gaming groups have some serious problems getting together. Jaelre drows were designed for campaign purposes (i was running it couple of years ago).

Welcome RPG'er & DM! Yeah, that can happen. Years ago had no problemn with groups getting together, but at the moment, no group at all. We had a recent move so don't know anyone here. Hoping to find soon.
We are not well versed with 4th, we prefer & stick to 2nd, we do not like what Wizards have done to our game, so we don't use the new rules. We love & enjoy all new artwork etc, just not the new eds.
I suppose some might find it silly, but we are set like cement on our decision. We find that rather than make the game simpler as they tried to convince, they have rather jus complicated it more.
What is your opinion on this?

I was playing every possible edition of d&d/ad&d. And i must say that the customization level of Pathfinder assisted by 3,5 edition is nice, BUT due to the heroic factor of d&d combats i am playing 4th edition since it came up. I do that for fun - because that is what i do playing d&d now.
When i am going to play more complex campaigns i am using pathfinder or 3.75 as you prefer.
Cheers

Fair enough. We see it that we use the rules as a simple guide. Our games are for fun also, we do not like to get bogged down by rules & or argument on same. We like a nice mix of mystery, drama, action & humour. A good balanced game that all can enjoy.
I think that the DM is important here & makes all the difference, but it helps if you have good dedicated players whose ego's don't run away with them.
