Description
A new week, a new buff girl. And a new character design. I don’t really know much about her yet, but she’s likely going to become part of a sci-fi universe I’ve been working on for a while. The story centers on an interspecies university in space.

Her tentative name is “Reina” although I’m not married to it yet. She’s former military (hence the mohawk in these alternate hairdos ) and also former PMC. Now she’s an older student attending the university.

Her eyes look weird because they’re cybernetic, acquired either as a direct upgrade or as a replacement after a battle injury. The glow is mostly just for aesthetics—she can turn it on and off and change the colors. The ocular implants can also emit infrared light and allow her to see it, giving her night vision—though to certain aliens, infrared light could make her stand out like she has flashlights in her eye sockets. She’ll likely also be acquiring some battle scars (because I like badass ladies) and tattoos of some sort. This is basically just the first concept art.

Apparently, she’s ready for the gym because that gives me an excuse to draw her in workout clothes. I’m not sure if her physique is too bodybuildery for a former soldier? Idk yet. Maybe she decided to get more buff as well as growing a lot of hair. Physically, she’s partially based off @bakharnabieva .

Man, I just now realized I have stronger anime influences than I thought. This is way better than the drawings I did in the past, but I still have a lot to learn.
