The Flare arc finale was fucking epic. It almost made up for the League finale. Great art!

I personally don't hate the League finale. Ash did better than ever before. Being a runner-up in a PokΓ©mon League Conference is nothing to sneeze at. I admit, I too was hyped about Ash's chance to win, but later I cooled down and realized that it was OK. After all, it's been confirmed that Ash won't win a League as long as the series is going to go on. I don't mind Ash losing if the loss is done well. The Johto and Kalos Leagues are great examples of this IMO, and arguably, even the Sinnoh League. I just feel that some people got TOO hyped of Ash's chance of winning here and, instead of trying to cope with what happened, became salty and said they hated the League ending, even though at least most of them just use that as an excuse of not saying how their expectations were crushed.
