Very nice! I don't see enough love for Charizard-Y in terms of art. I may not be a rabid fangirl when it comes to Charizard (unlike many), but I do appreciate seeing lovely artwork of the specimen.
Not to mention... *raises flame shield* ...I prefer Y-Mega in every regard. Sure, X looks cool. But overall, it just isn't my thing. The dragon type has had its running fame with the fandom for more than a decade, so quite frankly, I'm exhausted with it at this point. I prefer Charizard keeping its original typing, and Y's design simply feels more like a proper Mega-evolution for the original Pokemon.
In terms of shiny Pokemon, few look more badass than Mega Charizard Y in my opinion. Definitely one worth having. I had to hatch 4 shiny males before a female finally appeared. ._. (Before anyone can ask, I already traded them away for different shiny Pokemon. Sorry.)

You're not alone on that opinion. Plus Y is actually more popular competitive wise and better in my opinion by my own experience. It aint no wimp.

I actually spend minimal time in the competitive scene, so my bias of Y over X has nothing to do with its competitive use. If I am online doing competitive play, I'm always lurking in the RU tier with my Sigilyph...

yeah me too, I always prefer looks over stats/gameplay whatever. Its just that when I used to play online most of the charizard I fought carried the Y stone more frequently, kind of strange but nice to see.
