I wanted to do a parody of Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People for a while but didn't have a good female lead to be the central figure until a little art film called "The Force Awakens" came along and gave us Rey.

Haha I love this so much! I learned about Liberty Leading the People in the Art history class I took awhile ago and I must say it works PERFECTLY with Star Wars characters! So awesome!
