Description An Inquistor from Warhammer 40K, amply named Fett because of the helmit. =3 This is one of my better models and a fave. I really liked how his armor and the sword came out, but I will probably go back over the skin with a few layers to make it look a little nicer and lighter.

Origonal model copyright Games Workshop.

I think that is the best Inquisitor minature out of the collection, with the exception of the classics. Don't you think?

not bad painting, but.

Well, I'll just talk about skin and highlighting here. Looks like you know your skin's not the best, but I'll tell you how I do mine.

1. ALWAYS use the paints thinned down. I generally start with a brown, bestial brown for preference, and depending on the end result deisred, add the various flesh tones in order of lightness, adding white to paint the final highlights. For display models I NEVER wash skin, it's a good way of quickly bringing out detail on large numbers of models, but the end result is never as neat or defined as highlighting.

2. Metal. Unless I have a large smooth surface, I almost always drybrush metal first, working up to mithril silver, or mithril mixed with another metal for the final highlight. Ink washes CAN bring out metal and add effect, but they're tricky to pull off. For rust, try mixing a little scorched brown with blazing orange, thinning down and painting into the crevices.

I'll give you more advice if you want, ask me any time. Happy painting!

This looks like one of those models that would do well if they modelled it in 3d and stuck it in any of the FPS.. UT2k4... Q3... Doom3...

gonna have to save this one for reference or go out and find a copy of the model myself.. heh

Go to the store section and you can order the model itself if you like.
