As everyone should know, I adore Fran and in a few days Frans Character song comes out *is excited* So I drew him 8D I did a bunch of other Varia Chibi's but I'm not done with those yet 8DI only recently started reading Reborn again after a year but when I read how Fran was Mukuro's apprentice it immediately made me think back to the young boy it showed Mukuro had possessed at that baseball game and I started wondering if it could be a younger Fran 8D! I couldn't see any other point to pointing out he took over a young boy >.> Annnnyyywayssss their eyes look similar but if it's him he would have had to dye his hair 8D

After debating with a friend I'd have to say I agree with his point of view that Mii-kun is Leo-kun/Guido Greco. But Fran might be Mii-kuns older brother that was mentioned in the manga 8D Who knows =x

Yeah, I saw your theory about that and while we all know how Amano-sensei has surprised us by re-using seemingly insignificant characters from earlier appearances I'm going to have to disagree with you ^^
Firstly, the young boy Mukuro possessed (Mii-kun) was shown to have light brown hair and dark blue/grey eyes in the anime and secondly his full name is revealed as Mitsuru Fujimori in the Vongola 77 character book. So unless Fran dyed his hair, is wearing contacts and changed his name (and got under-eye tatts? xDD) I just don't think it's him. Plus, Shou-chan and Kawahira-ojisan were very clearly noted to have appeared before so if Fran had I don't think they wouldn't point it out.

By it's not worth debating I didn't mean it's not debatable but rather the point of a debate is to try change someones opinion on something and I have no intention of trying to change yours (other than stating it's still possible 8D) and mine will stay the same until Amano-sensei says/write/draws etc. otherwise so in that sense, it's pointless.
Also, I was aware of all the things about Mii-kun other than his full name. Back when his appearance happened, I wasn't yet reading the manga =x

Yep, everyone is more than entitled to their own opinion, you can believe whatever you want and it's all good as long as you're happy with it
I just personally feel there is too much evidence against and not enough for to agree with your theory ^^
I'll tell you what though, it would be a very funny thing if Fran was indeed Mii-kun because ( I don't know how much Japanese you know but) instead of using a Japanese first-person pronoun (watashi, boku, ore, etc) Fran actually uses the English first-person pronoun me, which of course in Japanese is mii...

Haha, I actually only know that because of his character song-- When watching the anime I usually don't listen carefully to what's being said since my Japanese is rather basic and I'd probably make things harder for myself to understand if I went by what was spoken instead of written 8D
I don't think it's Fran anymore though D: I was out with a RL friend a last night/early this morning and we got into a debate about it and I ended up on his side of things when I got home and looked it up a bit. He said he thinks Mii-kun is Leo-kun/Guido Greco or whatever his name was. And in the anime they have the same hair/eye color. But anyways, I went back through the character book to find out Mii-kuns age and it said he was 8-- While Leo is like 17 so it could be before he turned 18 but it's still about 10 years later. Fran's age isn't actually known as far as I'm aware but everyone assumes he's in his early 20's or maybe it was stated somewhere that it's his early 20s xD Idk.
The reason why I changed my mind isn't because Leo would be about the same age as Mii-kun or because their eye and hair color is the same. It's because I realized chances are it's not Fran when I looked at Mii-kun's birth date. He was born on August 23rd iirc which means he can't be Fran |: Fran is said to be a Sagittarius which isn't in August 8D And I figured if it can't be Fran it might as well be Leo then 8D
But I like what you said at the end there D: Makes me wish I could think it was Fran again :C I've decided though-- Since Mii-kun has an older brother that Fran might be his older brother 8D I'm just really trying to connect him to Mii-kun on that one though

Yeah, I noticed what I thought was just Engrish in his chara song but then I checked (I own all the Japanese tankobon >_<) and re-listened to the anime and he definitely uses mii xDD
IIRC Fran's exact age hasn't been specified but since he calls Bel senpai he has to be younger than him and since Bel is 26 in the future that would mean Fran would reasonably be in his late teens/early twenties ^^
Hmmn I think the reason that Mukuro is connected to Fran is through XANXUS?
Ahahaha and I totally forgot to mention that the other reason I didn't think Mii-kun was Fran was because I thought if he was anyone 10YL then he was most likely Leo-kun xDDD Yayy we can agree now 8D"

Lulz,tbh, I completely forgot who Leo-kun even was from the point of him leaving the story until last night when my friend brought him up 8D
I don't think that he's connected to him through Xanxus ;A; Though that could be another explanation to why the Varia was watching after him for Mukuro as he said. But because he said that, I always took it to him being with Mukuro before he was with the Varia.
What are your reasons for thinking it's Xanxus though?

I thought it might be him 'cause they looked sorta similar when I first read it but I didn't really think too much about it in particular.
Well there is definitely some connection between XANXUS, Mukuro & Fran... but I'm honestly not 100% sure which way round Fran came to be Mukuro's apprentice xDD
I am fairly certain however that it is tied to the fact that Fran posses a Hell Ring. Whether Mukuro saw Fran's potentinal as an illusionist with the ability to use that specific ring since it amplifies your power etc, and then handed him over to XANXUS for looking after /training/replacement for Mammon etc or whether it was actually the reverse and XANXUS spotted his talent and had Mukuro hone his skills etc.. I haven't decided yet but I'm leaning more towards the Mukuro found him first theory. What do you think?

I think that makes a bit of sense ;D I lean towards Mukuro having him first... Mainly because that's just the way it seemed to me with Mukuro saying 'Thank you for watching after him' but that could still work if it was the reverse and Xanxus found Fran and had Mukuro train him w/e. I just hope the connection is explained before the series ends or I'm gonna have to go to Japan and pry out some answers |:

That isn't impossible 8D And he doesn't really have to /change/ his name- he just has to go by something else.
He couldn't possibly be as clearly noted as those two though ;D Unless she just right out wrote that it was him or did a flash back. And imo both him and Mii-kun being connected to Mukuro is good enough for me.
It's not worth really debating about though ;D You have your opinion and I have mine.
