Lacies are a closed species. I am not claiming I own lace, animal ears and tails, or plush dolls but this is my version of a lace inspired species.

Lacies are creatures that are literally walking plushes. However, they are very much alive. A Lacie is born when a good-natured person wishes for companionship or something to aid in the hardships of everyday life. Because of this they're typically born to lonely children. They often appear in place of a favorite plush and take certain characteristics. Made of synthetic-like material they have a surprisingly convincing human-like appearance. They don't age or change since they are essentially plushes. The embroidery on them have a lace-like pattern which lead to their name.
