Notice: its japanese manga, right to left...Its been awhile since i continued Toph vs Gaara...
for giving me the urge to continue it... although what he only did was just comment at my page >,..,< anyways this is just a product of boredom, so yeah it was kinda a quick drawing....

just saw the death battle of this, so though find art of gaara/toph fights and like this. Warning death battle was decent, some stuff could been added, also I love all the complaining every does. shame wont finish this I kind like it/

Gaara would crush all his rocks and turn them into minerals, he would send hi chakra into whatever sand Toph tries to use on him too and take it over. Gaara would kill Toph in the end. The instant he gets a chance there will be no hesitation.

Gaara is a fucking Kage, one of the best of ninja, which even a regular ninja is too fast, stealthy and battle tuned for any kind of avatar character, now a kage, who make regular ninja look like slugs and weaklings, would massacre toph.

This is a bit late, but I can't help but want to put in my two cents.
Though Toph can bend sand, I don't think she'd be able to bend the sand Gaara bends. Shukaku is a demon with ultimate control of the sand. I don't think bending can relinquish that control. Toph is more in touch with the earth yes, but Gaara has been in control of sand since birth. And the sand that protects him no matter what is something that I again don't think can be bended away.

also laying my two cents justifying toph's abilities
no matter how it IS shukaku's sands-- it is still earth, and toph can harden sand (shown in ep 10 season 2 i believe)
thus why i decided not to continue this manga since the chakra n the bending concept would clash

I'm not biased, I'm looking at this from a realist type standpoint, 12 year old gaara will go for the kill with his ninja speed and stealth and he has kunai and shuriken too, any distraction. a split second could be her end. By the way Avatar makes naruto look like an adult show, which is sad.

Can I input something on this? Toph can also bend sand, she said she'd been working on it. Gaara can't bend earth, so he's at a disadvantage, Kage or not. BIG disadvantage.

He also doesn't need to "bend" anything, he controls it with his energy/chakra.

She's been working on it, he was born with it, he can crush rock with the sand and control sand with mastery, he would crush her rocks and make more sand for himself, and whatever sand she tries to use would be taken over by him. He's too skilled for her. he also uses the minerals in the rocks to make his sand stronger so eventually no earth bending will save her and sh won't be able to use sand because he will simply take possession of it.

But then, she could be able to turn his sand into stone. And then control his sand. Plus most of the time if you manage to it Gaara he goes into a state of shock.

That was when he was 12 -____- he's 16 now and has been hit by naruto, sasuke, and deidara, and he never went into shock. See now its down to a battle of speed strength and skill. Gaara is faster, stealthier, stronger, and def has more skill in hand to hand combat. Considering he's killed countless people all with unique abilities. Gaara would kill her. He'd appear behind her, and stab her in the heart with a kunai. You seriously underestimate Gaara. Read up on him for real and stop being a douche. [link]

You seriously underestimate Toph. Remember, she's one of the best Earthbenders around, plus remember Gaara exerts more chakra when using sand NOT infused with chakra already. Gaara would run out of chakra long before Toph would run out of steam. And yes, I read up on him. How about you read up on Toph? [link]
Another thing? Even before they got to the running out of energy stage, Gaara would probably do the smart thing, make a truce, and then Toph would get Iroh to make them both cups of tea.

Toph isn't immune to a kunai through the heart or the stealth and speed of an elite ninja. They probably would be like, wait.. what are we fighting for? but if the fight had to go to the end, Gaara would win, and I read about toph, Gaara could beat her. Both at 12 years old, Gaara would beat her. He HAD to kill whoever he fought as his pyschotic psyche made him that way. But yeah If it was Gaara after he fought Naruto then they would make a truce.

i do concede that in a one on one fight Gaara has the upper hand. But, doesn't Gaara's sand make a slight hissing noise as it flies around? Even that teeny sound could tip her off, and again no human being can be completely silent, even a ninja. Ninja still have to breathe, after all. That makes noise too. Toph could most likely hear that.
Plus Gaara needs hand signs which take time to make.

No, he doesn't he never use's hand signs, and it only makes the hissing noise when hes using Shukaku chakra in the sand and when the sand first comes out of the gourd, and It is like 99% impossible to hear a kage or jounin level ninja when they are being stealthy, Even Kakashi didn't know orochimaru was in the room when he was sealing Sasuke. Ninja's are the epitome of stealth and speed. and they have controlled mastery over their breathing, they can only be heard breathing when they are WORN out or just not trying to be stealthy, I'm not putting down Toph, shes a straight up G, but Gaara would be too much for her.
