Psamathe was the Nereid goddess of sand beaches. Her name means "the Sand-Goddess" from psammos, sand and theia, goddess. Psamathe was the wife of Proteus, the old seal-herder of Poseidon. She bore him a mortal son and a sea-nymph daughter.

Biography

Born and raised by a breeder in a small wealthy city . She was Birthed from A Peibald Masaai lion and a Piebald Kalahari Lioness. Her Family has been bred for generations to gain the most beautiful coats of Peibald. years of Trails and error led to her birth. She was raised like any average Cub, a loving mother, her father known but she didnt much care. She as happy with her siblings and watched as each one grew into beautiful Felines despite only 3 of them having the Peibald mutation the master seeked. Her brothers all of which began growing Dark manes at young ages were solf off to another city and new masters and her only sister was also sold off to another breeder, shehad a small amount of Peibald going on so her master didnt really wish to keep her. He was loking for heavy Peibald mutation in his cats

However her easy life at home began to change as she aged and her own mane grew in. A gene somehow missed in her fathers lineage. This displeased the Master so she was sold off to a Wealthy man whom used her as a Guard cat for his Son. She was raised to Work along side him and keep him protected. but there was one thing she disliked about the new masters son... He was ruthless behind closed doors....

The son often Drank his mirsery at claming his fathers Buisness . Something he didnt want. He drank and drank untill he was so dilerious he took his frustrations out on Sam if she happened ot be anywhere near him during his fits. She was whipped, beated... Even hit with a shoe once or twice when she didnt get out of the way fast enough when he took his boots off. At somepoint the man even Cut all her Mane off for no reason. Well not that she couldn understand humans anyway as he held her down and cut some close at times he nicked her skin.

There was a time man seemed great to her.. back when she was a child.. innocent and free.. but now.. now they were monsters.. beasts of war and Damnation... Only in it for their own gains.... no emotions to any creature that isnt a human.

When the master moved into the city of Massila and broke all ties with his family, She took her chance one night when he booted her out for accidently drunkely tripping on her and she just didnt go back.... She kept running. Running as far as her legs would take her. Right through the gates of hell. It wasnt hard since most figured she was a pet having came willingly with her master to begin with. Noone was the wiser that she was running away. She ran and ran. untill she found herself in unknown territory. She remebered merely resting to take a nap for once since shed been running for days off an on onl stopping to sleep. She woke to a strange voice and pelts shed never seen.
