Subject: My sister (her name is Amanda and I sometimes call her Salamander)Digital.

The photo represents my little sisters' happiness (she's autistic and often cries for reasons we don't know). However, during bath time, she NEVER cries. It's like the water distracts her and keeps her from focusing on her sensory problems, hallucinations, etc. So in this photo I see a guaranteed sort of happiness for my autistic sister

Gee...my bathwater was never BLUE before. It is a really great photo you have here. Your sister stands out from the blue-white background you have from the tub and the wall. Also, I can tell you have a really high quality camera. I especially like how her hair looks when its wet. Usually hair is depicted al this large mass sitting on top of people's heads with a large white band of highlight here or there. I like how I can see individual hairs on her head as well as chunks heading all sorts of different directions.

I was trying to pull of making the water "realistically" blue but I decided that I kinda liked how it looked "fake" while blue.

I think the monochrome contradicts the happiness your sister is trying to convey. Black and White images generally make images appear 'moody' rather than happy, I understand a bathroom is hardly colour paradise, and I'm saddened by your sisters condition

tones dont make it happier, colours effect that, but when the colour is grey and all the colours are the same...it gets dull, if you see where i'm going with this?
Maybe in photoshop paint the water with a blue brush at opacity 20% or so, brighten the water and make the bath a bright white. That kind of hting
