Thanks to *WaterEmi who introduced me to FMA, I've just started to want to draw Ed, since he's my fav character out of the show. I've only seen a hand-full of episodes so I don't know much about it or what the alchemi signs look like.
Well anyway here's my first attempt at drawing an FMA character.

Is it just me, or is Ed taller? Yaaay! He's not a shrimp anymore.xDD Not that I thought he was short in the first place. It's just that from watching a lot of the episodes, most of the other people in the show say he's short and then Ed gets really mad.lol But anyway... I really love how this pic turned out. The colors are phenomenal and the shading and lighting are pretty good as well. I'm also loving the background. It looks exactly as it would in the show. Maybe even better.O.O

The lineart and CG work are so clean and smooth, and the pose and effects turned out well. This is your first attempt at one of these characters? Wow! You did fantastically. Rock on! =]
