recurring aspirations of adoration
and completion’s presence
to watch a replica
in a labyrinth-like corridor
deductive reasoning in escape
attempts with each door
a tantalizing figure so subtle
and un-surveyed by the role
first rhythmically in unison
then surreally elapsing untold
a light seemingly so distant
with each determined step progressed
but in concluding usual respite
a frustrated finish so derelict
i again open my eyes, an illusion
laid beside in immovable conviction
and the dawn’s revealed remission
until tomorrow…another vision…
