this is a VERY special one! this is the finalized lines in black and white. but i should have them up in color tomorrow. here is how. i copied the finalized lines deviation pasted it in microsoft word, edited it a bit to fit and voila! then i traced my lines and shaded.might be doing this now cuz it allows infinite re-dos. but do you guys like it?
also: there is a little light red/pink. it fits so well(you can see it in her blush). that was the computer. apparently if you erase black ink you get that. no idea why.
also her hair is so smooth! i wish i knew how i did that! but i dont!
think thats it. like her new outfit for after class? i do! *smiles*

you can use scraps of paper too. works much better than a finger

i mean it. works well. since thats all blenders really are anyway. and ya dont have to worry about sweat and the mess this way

i honestly dont know. i did really small lines and used a blender i had just sand papered but i dont know. i wish i did. the hair is exceptionally smooth.

just clean it. and do small, close lines. and blend soon after laying down the shading. its all i do.

hopefully that will help you.
i also only use two pencil types: 3H and 2B. maybe that helps? not usre but seems more uniform of shading so possibly?

Been getting lots of criticism which helps but sorta crushed my spirit too

well honestly if you plan on going to make comics, then they're a great help. But for me, since most of my art are usually one-offs they are meaningless to me, they do look nice though

i appreciate them a lot. but i dont entirely agree with them.
to start: anything on the lower body: thank you! i so need to work on that. so thank you fopr that
the arms: looking back i agree that i should have lifted the right arm slightly for the shoulder to elbow part to look more natural but it wasnt wrong the way i did it, just a bit stiffer. which again the help is appreciated but at least the arms were the right size and all.
face: i agree the hair could have moved more. i did it for the back hair but not too a great enough degree for the front hair(bangs?)
the uh b***s: i will keep them the way they are. one i sorta like it and think the shadows make them 3D enough. because i can do those very realistically and then 2 things happen. 1 every guy just stares at those and never at anything else(look at how many more this got thna my others in terms of downloads, favs, and views: [link] and here again they are rather realistic: [link] and 2 every girl calls me a pervert. it just doesnt go well.
overall: thanks so much! i disagree with it to a degree but its really helpful and appreciated! i do need to work on realism and this is a great reference! feel free to do it again if you ever want to! and sorry this is so long!
