I started this drawing a while ago doing bits in between other pieces that i have been working onI wanted to draw this because i thought it would be a challenge for myself,,
HB 2B pencil and a rubber
my next challenge is to have the confidence to finish jack sparrow

Definately THE best character ever in any film
and hes really fun to draw to,, kinda helps that subject is really good looking too
means i concentrate more
My goal though is to do a series of potc drawings,,
Tia Dalma,, Barbossa,, Gibbs etc

And that sounds like a great idea. I haven't attempted anyone but Jack yet (well, a self portrait of me, too), but I think I'd be really good at it.

POTC is a great theme to use for drawing,, i want to draw the black pearl too,, awesome ship
the pirates especially,, with all the detail that goes into it
its good to challenge yourself

i could never draw people very well,, but now i think i have progressed,, still room to improve but i draw every single day so i know some day i will

Oh, I can draw people, but I'm no good at shading.
