So, like everybody else, I am very excited for the new chapter of AHR and had high hopes unitl I somehow spoiled myself yesterday. I guess that it might not turn out too well.

Anyway. Ever since the last chapter, I wanted to draw out a confession scene like this in a typical Shoujo style. Since I have also been obsessing over "The Rose of Versailles", I bluntly copied Ikeda Ryoko's style, which is quite lovely (and overly dramatic, I might add)

I have also read a lot of recent opinions about Kou and it seems that more and more people are turning away from him. While I understand that his behavior towards Futaba might seem selfish and hard, I can also sympathize with him and don't cuss him at all. I believe that in the previous chapters it was shown so many times just how much he cares about her. The fact that the two of them did not get together in the past is not only his fault but Futaba's as well. She has never clearly voiced out her feelings for him. How was he to know how she truly felt? She did behave contradictory and was always in denial. I guess you could just call it bad luck that they were always interrupted at the most crucial times...

As for Touma being a potential love interest...I still don't see it. I like his character and all but Futaba just doesn't seem to notice him. I'm really starting to feel sorry for him. But then again, he needs to tell her straight on, otherwise she won't ever notice his feelings.

I personally still love the manga, even though I'm a bit frustrated that Kou and Futaba still didn't get together ( I am close to 100% sure that they will end up together) The whole introduction of the manga serves that very purpose, in my opinion.
