Ugh! ...I feel dizzy. Like when watching "2001: A Space Odyssey" and the guy was jogging around in a ring like a hamster. Could you imagine climbing ladders, stairs and riding turbolifts to a small section in a vertical ship? I don't think this is a practical idea. The ART if it is GREAT and AMAZING but I just can't see traveling on it unlike the traditional horizontal saucer type ships. Maybe I am old fashioned but UGH!!

They would have to put it a spacedock sideways. Artificial Gravity might be a bitch to maintain on that ship.

I had a similar idea for a ship named after Colorado governor John Hickenlooper; instead of putting the bridge in a dome on top of the saucer, I put it inside.
