Description This is part of my Mythology series, which was exhibited in my Drawing on a Theme class in May 2008. My theme was Greek Mythological lovers. Other subthemes include the common color scheme and the trees. All works in the series were done with watercolor and pen & ink on watercolor paper.

This work depicts the death of Hyacinth help by his lover Apollo. Zephyrus the wind god, also in love with Hyacinth decided to kill himby changing the direction of a discus thrown by Apollo, since Hyacinth had chosen Apollo as his lover.
