Finally, it's done!Here it is: my final for Shanth Enjeti's face-rocking Comic Book Storytelling Class! It took a good long time to get this to finish even after having handed it in, but here it is, just in time for Christmas!
SO: here's the debut of two more characters from the same general world of Windlord and The Faceless: meet Alfonse & Domingo
Alfonse is the one with the big hat, Domingo is the one with wind-chimes hanging from his gills.
I was really stuck for ideas for the final project...I had a few floating out there, but nothing really satisfied me. And as ridiculously artsy as it sounds, this came to me while my friend Henrik was improvising on his guitar
I asked him to keep playing while I started to plot it out, this is what resulted. I'm quite pleased with the outcome, and I'm very excited to finally post it! I hope y'all like it! So, Merry Christmas to all, please enjoy the early present and have a wonderful holiday!

This is so beautiful--it has an almost "epic" feel to it (in terms of poetry, for example). I especially love all the little details that make the whole so much more believable.

For one I'm amazed at the level of detail put in this, whether in composition, design or use of colors. Especially the colors! They're bright and they manage to express emotions so well (at least in mu opinion)

Amazement and awe. Since I saw first the latter version (the one featured on your main page) I can say how evidently the carachters have evolved... That must have been an awful lot of hours of work, but I'm sure love leads it all xd I like very much how the protagonists and the overall atmosphere has changed without losing originality and charm. Very, very good work from the beginning.

This is really great. I absolutely love the colors and the changes between over and under the tree tops. Do I see a reference to Van Gogh's "Starry Night" in the bottom left box with the tree next to the man's head?
