Description Here’s the colored version of a sketch I did a while ago. As everyone should know it’s lion-o from the new thunder cats. Like I said before, if they would have either one of the royal brothers walking around without a shirt in least one episode, the series would still continue to this day. Let me know what you think......

The show had very awesome elements, but it wasn't put together well. It was really the lack of story and little to no character development that got it canceled. You didn't care much what happened to the title heroes.

It was just a 60's Western show with little bit of swordplay and scifi, which was what the original show was and thus leaves it feeling dated. A animated movie would probably be Liono's only hope now.

I do agree with you in many parts but it seems like a lot of shows with more of problems seemingly go on for years.

Right now I believe the smart move for them would be to create a manga on the new thundercats. In be a lot cheaper than paying for animation, they can go into a lot more depth with each chapter and a few new riders wouldn’t hurt either.
If it was successful they could rebuild their fan base and down the road try to animated again...
I would definitely read that manga.
It would be nice if it would be similar to the first two episodes, those were awesome in my opinion.

Of course I can’t criticize others’ writing when I’m no bestseller myself.

It would actually be cool if they did two. One an American manga based on the new series and a second that could be a free downloadable that was based purely on the original. Fans wanted the original Cheetra and Liono fighting the original Mumra (which the new series' one is a lot like, except he has a race-car casket). This way you could have a crossover arc in the manga that creates a real link between the two Thundercats shows.

It really cool idea and hope someone is listen

I can totally agree with you! I remember faving the sketch awhile ago (I loved it then too) and it looks WAY better coloured! I can guarantee, if they would've added just a pinch of fan service, teenage girls all around the world would have tuned in to watch those moments alone, and then proceed to scour the rest of the series just to pick out more of those moments (I know I would've!)

Easily, if not more It was so close to anime in the style, I can bet any anthro anime fangirl would've LOVED that!
