Description
I'm into Berserk now. All that blood, the carnage, the mayhem! And the story - the "Band of the Hawk" and Griffith and how he fell... I like the idea of this one man, Guts, on a futile battle against unimaginably powerful beings. It really brings out that feeling of insurmountable challenge, fighting a losing battle.But then magic is introduced to the story. And then... I don't know, it kinda ruins it for me. And the new characters are annoying. Maybe except Serpico. And also Gut's Berserk Armor is awesome.
So I made this. Done in watercolor.

M'kay. But ASIDE FROM, this piece really brings out the "berserk" mentality Guts gets whenever he uses the Berserker Armor, and is a really nice piece at that too.

I mean it is an understandable complaint though, Berserk is all the characters and their interactions, and how their lives are interwoven in a tale of blood soaked revenge, shattered friendships and relationships, and a battle against the forces of evil and even fate/destiny itself.

It was kind of already implied that magic could exist but look on the bright side, atleast the magic in Berserk is based off real concepts and not generic anime/manga magic.

That's true. I guess I just got too caught up with the Golden Age arc. I was too engrossed in the interactions of Guts and Griffith and the rest of the gang and how Guts' character slowly changed that I forgot about the existence of Zodd and the Behelith and all the magic stuff that's bound to be connected to them. I'm still continuing with reading the manga though, even after all that magicky stuff was introduced.

It is a weird stylistic hodgepodge of 900 years of European culture and fashion. At the heart of the continent where Guts is born, the fashion and technology is from around 850 A.D.
On the coastline, it Maxes out at around 1750. It increased regionally as he made his way around. Huh??π€π€
